Story Summary
Synopsis: Hiding off-the-grid on a romantic winter resort getaway after abandoning their careers as operative killers, rogue spies-in-love Joe and Lara witness a deadly plane crash and snatch a
top-secret flash drive from the downed aircraft before a brutal and well-trained mercenary can retrieve it. Joe and Lara realize the contents of the drive will bring every agency in the world after them, including a former intel agent associate, who is sent to recover the harddrive. When all sides don’t play by whatever rules that exist, the couple forsake their idyllic lifestyle and employ their formidable skills order to survive the impending onslaught.
General Style Comments
This is an Action Spy thriller, with personal drama and suspense built in. Overall, the supervisor is looking for energy – mostly fast paced exciting orchestration (may be a blend of traditional orchestrated score and electronic/modern elements). It is suggested to show the ebb and flow
ability of slower drama moments that build into full action excitement; varied pacing, full and minimal instrumental moments, and building throughout to showcase your ability to match a picture’s storyline. Additional style and genre ideas may range from Traditional Film Scores (i.e. Tenet, Tomb Raider, Iron Man, John Wick) to blending in modern edgy rock elements (industrial, metal, electronica).
