The opening night of Composers Summit Prague brings together internationally acclaimed composers and the music that has defined films, television and games around the world. Performed live by Czech National Symphony Orchestra and conducted in many cases by the composers themselves, the evening is both a celebration of great screen music and the beginning of six days when Prague becomes its international meeting point.
Among the composers taking the stage are Conrad Pope, Austin Wintory, Mychael Danna, Jeff Beal, Stephanie Economou, Chris Lennertz and more.

Some of cinema’s most unforgettable moments would be unthinkable without music. Horror and Thriller Night explores the darker side of film scoring — tension, silence, dissonance, atmosphere and the music that makes an audience afraid before anything has even appeared on screen.
At its centre stands Christopher Young, joined by guests Chris Bacon, Charlie Clouser and Elia Cmiral, with the scores performed live by Czech National Symphony Orchestra.

Some films are impossible to imagine without their music. Deadpool & Wolverine live explores the sound of Marvel's most unlikely duo: irreverence, adrenaline, bruising action, unexpected heart and the music that holds the mayhem together from the first note to the last.
A unique concert evening at the New Spiral, performed live by Czech National Symphony Orchestra together with Rob Simonsen, the composer of the music. The venue's one-of-a-kind 360° circular space puts the visuals on equal footing with the sound, surrounding the audience from every side.

Game music has become one of the most ambitious forms of contemporary composition. From vast orchestral worlds to intimate electronic soundscapes, Legends of Gaming celebrates the composers whose music accompanies millions of players through stories, battles, discoveries and entire virtual universes.
At the heart of the concert is Jesper Kyd, who has invited his star colleagues Austin Wintory, Jack Wall and Maclaine Diemer to join him, with the music performed live by Czech National Symphony Orchestra.

Heroes of Marvel
The Marvel universe has created some of the most recognisable characters in contemporary popular culture — and music has always been part of their identity.
Marvel Night brings the cinematic universe to the concert hall through the themes, scores and composers behind its films and characters. A large scale orchestral celebration of heroes, villains, worlds — and the music that makes them larger than life.
What makes the concert unique is that the composers themselves will be there in person: Mark Mothersbaugh, Christophe Beck, Natalie Holt, Rob Simonsen and Christopher Lennertz, with their music performed live by Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
